About BHCIA

The Belmont Heights Civic Improvement Association (BHCIA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1977, dedicated to enhancing the quality of life and property values in the Belmont Heights and Belcrest Gardens neighborhoods. Nestled in the beautiful Belmont hills overlooking San Francisco Bay, our community spans 756 residences at the peak of Ralston Avenue, accessible from Hallmark, Lassen, and Tahoe Drives.

BHCIA is dedicated to making Belmont Heights and Belcrest Gardens vibrant and welcoming places to live. We focus on civic improvements, we host an annual social event that brings residents together, we maintain a Neighborhood Directory and more. Our bi-monthly meetings, featuring guest speakers, provide a forum for discussing important issues and staying connected. We also represent our neighborhoods' interests to the City of Belmont, ensuring that our voices are heard and our community's needs are met.

BHCIA is an independent organization, not affiliated with any other agencies or any political parties.

The motto of the corporation is: "A local homeowner group for integrity and responsibility in civic affairs."

To support our motto and provide operating principles for the board we established BHCIA bylaws to govern the organization.
